Job Title: Winding Machine Operator.
Location: Sparta, NJ.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Pay: $19-$22.
Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Winding Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating winding machines, monitoring production quality, and ensuring materials are processed according to customer specifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate winding machines based on production work orders.
- Feed, position, wind, and cut materials to meet production specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Read and interpret work orders, including specifications for form, temperature, speed, and production requirements.
- Load materials onto machines and ensure proper machine operation throughout the production process.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Assist with production scheduling and workflow coordination as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or production environments.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with machinery and production equipment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience using RF scanners is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team.
